A Discord bot that puts people in uwu jail. While someone is jailed, everything they type is swapped, as it is sent, for an uwuified version that still shows their own name and avatar.

/uwu jail, for a set time or until released./uwu release, the member goes back to normal.Replies keep a small "replying to" link, long messages are split, and only people can be pinged,
never @everyone, @here or roles. Links, mentions, emoji and code are left alone.
A jailed member's message is left exactly as they sent it when it:
The log channel can show these under the optional skipped event.
Invite the bot with the bot and applications.commands scopes and these permissions:
https://discord.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=1540639920228405268Moderators (need the Moderate Members permission):
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/uwu jail user [duration] |
Jail a member. Duration is free text: 90m, 2h30m, 3d, 1w or never. Default 24h, maximum 365 days. |
/uwu release user |
Let a member out early. |
/uwu list |
See who is in jail and when they get out. |
Jailing someone who is already jailed just changes their sentence. You can jail yourself. You can't jail bots, the server owner, or anyone whose top role is at or above yours.
Admins (need the Manage Server permission) set things up with /uwuconfig:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/uwuconfig show |
Show this server's whole configuration. |
/uwuconfig log-channel set channel / off |
Choose where jail activity is logged, or stop logging. |
/uwuconfig log-events [messages] [jail] [failures] [skipped] |
Pick which kinds of events are logged. |
/uwuconfig show-original enabled |
Show or hide the original text in the message log. |
/uwuconfig family-friendly enabled |
Skip the explicit word swaps (off by default). |
/uwuconfig other-bots bot enabled channel |
Tidy up other bots' logs of the messages uwujail deletes (see below). |
/uwuconfig clean-webhooks |
Delete leftover or duplicate webhooks the bot created. |
You can change who may use each command in Server Settings → Integrations.
With a log channel set, uwujail posts an embed for each uwuified message (who, where, old and new
text, and a link to the new message), for every jail, release and expiry, and for any failure.
Messages it left alone are logged only if you turn on the skipped event. By default the log
includes the original text of every replaced message, so keep that channel private to
moderators, or turn it off with /uwuconfig show-original enabled:false.
A logging bot will record every message uwujail deletes, which doubles up your logs. With
/uwuconfig other-bots, uwujail deletes the matching "message deleted" entry from that bot's log
channel right after it deletes the original. Supported bots: Carl-bot, Sapphire and
Dyno. The bot needs View Channel, Read Message History and Manage Messages in that log channel.
